Privacy Policy

Last updated September 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how CognioIQ ("CognioIQ", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit cognioiq.com (the "Site") or contact us through it.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us through a form on the Site, we collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, role and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time of each request. These logs are used to operate and secure the Site.

Preferences stored on your device. The Site saves a small setting in your browser (for example, whether sound is muted on our interactive contact page). It stays on your device and is not used to identify or track you.

The Site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about it.
  • Evaluate investment, pilot or partnership opportunities you bring to us.
  • Operate, maintain and secure the Site.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:

  • With service providers who help us run the Site and handle communications, such as website hosting and email, who may only use it to provide those services to us.
  • With professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of CognioIQ, our users or others.
  • As part of a merger, acquisition or reorganization, subject to this policy.

Third-party services

The Site loads some code libraries from content delivery networks (cdnjs, operated by Cloudflare, and unpkg). When your browser requests these files, those providers receive standard technical information such as your IP address. The Site also links to services such as LinkedIn, X and Facebook; their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, and then delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and the Site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to object to or restrict certain uses of it. To make a request, contact us as described below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

International visitors

CognioIQ is based in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
